Nozomi, a wife who lived with her husband, Toshikazu’s parents’ house, with her father-in-law, Kazuma, and lived a leisurely rural life. Two years later, her husband was transferred and the couple had to return to Tokyo. Toshikazu and Nozomi feel sorry for her for leaving her father-in-law behind in the countryside, but they are also filled with joy that they can finally live together as a married couple. In contrast, Kazuma’s heart is filled with sadness that Nozomi, who had been kind to her until now, has gone far away.
