OB visits (オービーほうもん) refer to the actions taken by students during job hunting activities as part of their information gathering process. This term originates from visiting alumni of one’s own university. Along with internship periods, many women hoping to secure employment experience incidents where men claiming to be OB make sexual remarks, touch them inappropriately, or demand sexual acts. Most of these incidents are concealed and do not come to light, and it is said that the cases that have recently been highlighted as problems are just the tip of the iceberg.
